Library Rules and Regulations

1. Identity Card is compulsory for getting access to the library.
2. Scan your ID CARD in the USER TRACKING SOFTWARE to register your entry.
3. Late fees of Rs.3/- per book per day will be charged. Renewal of books is allowed only once.
4. The librarian may ask for the return of any book from any member at any time, and the member shall return it immediately.
5. Library borrower cards are not transferable. The borrower is responsible for the books borrowed on his/her card.
6. Faculty/Staff/Students will not be able to submit the book on the same day of issue.
7. Complete silence and strict discipline should be maintained in the library and reading room.
8. Using mobile phones and audio instruments, with or without speakers or headphones, is strictly prohibited in the library premises.
9. Registration should be completed to become a library member prior to using library resources.
10. Show the books and other materials being taken out of the library to the staff at the entry/exit counter.

LOSS OF CARD

Loss of cards:
Loss of borrower card should be reported to the librarian. Duplicate card may be issued against formal application and Rs.50 fine.
